For 25 years, my work as a writer and journalist has taken me all over the globe. In China, Sudan, Kenya, India, Thailand, and elsewhere, I've worked alongside international humanitarian aid organizations and seen the devastation that many of the world's children face.

That's why I founded , a non-profit organization that helps children in disaster and crisis situations around the world.

Our ongoing focus is helping to end the worldwide trafficking of children through our anti-trafficking campaign. has also helped:

  • tsunami victims in Indonesia, India, Thailand, and Sri Lanka
  • children in Vietnam disfigured by land mines
  • children at an emergency feeding center affected by Ethiopia's famine
  • child slaves kidnapped in Sudan
  • abandoned baby girls in China
  • AIDS orphans in Zimbabwe
  • girls in Thailand rescued from child prostitution
  • orphans in Russia and Ukraine
  • children in Afghanistan whose fathers were murdered
  • street children in Costa Rica
  • other children around the world who live with tragedy, war, disease, and degradation

Our focus is helping children in disaster and crisis situations around the world. Contributions come from direct donations, which you can make by clicking the "Donations" button to the left. Funds are also generated from sales of Diana Scimone's books for children, , about a little dog who visits a different country in each book introducing young children to other countries and cultures.
